The focal point of the story is Blade, a proficient vampire hunter with the moniker of "Daywalker". Due to his mother's encounter with a vampire, Blade is a remarkable blend of vampire and human blood. While on assignment in Japan, Blade sets off on a journey to track down Deacon Frost, who killed his mother. During his mission, Blade confronts "Existence", a shady vampire faction modified by Frost.
