When Binchou-tan wakes up in her rundown cabin, she realizes that her reserve of water is almost empty. With no other option, she heads towards the nearby stream only to discover that the water is muddy. In hopes of finding better water in the town, she walks past lush green fields and arrives at the marketplace, where an old water pump is located. Once she fills her wooden bucket, she begins the trek back home. Suddenly, it starts to rain heavily, and Binchou-tan takes advantage of the rainfall by collecting it in her bucket, which fills it to capacity and prepares her for her upcoming tasks.
