A.D. Police, which is set prior to Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, follows the efforts of a specialized police unit in Mega-Tokyo tasked with taking down problematic Boomers. One of the officers in this unit, Kenji Sasaki, faces a significant obstacle when his latest partner is brutally attacked by a fierce Boomer. Matters only get worse for Kenji when he is taken off active duty and paired with Hans Kleif, a German detective whom he had previously punched at a local bar. In addition to dealing with the usual Boomer-related issues, Kenji must navigate the challenge of adjusting to his unorthodox new partner.
