A collaborative animated short film between Daniel Arsham and Pokémon, directed by Kunihiko Yuyama (the chief director of the original Pocket Monsters anime), was showcased at Arsham's art exhibition "A Ripple in Time" in Tokyo. Previously, a one-minute preview of the film was also uploaded to Pokémon's official YouTube channel on January 27, 2022.
